About This Yacht

Owned by a very experienced Captain who sold his Little Harbor 44 and bought this Grand Banks classic 46 trawler. He and his wife have continually upgraded her while under their stewardship. She spends with winters in Charleston, SC and the summers on the hard in Oxford, Md. they have decided to travel by land and spend more time with their grandkids so with great difficulty they have offered Circe for sale. She is ready for anyone to hop aboard and take off cruising.

Accommodations

  • "Circe" is a lovely, very well maintained Grand Banks 46 Classic with the desired two stateroom, two head and galley down layout. With her galley down, her salon is large and very accommodating for living aboard or entertaining. Though her galley is down, it is still open to the salon allowing anyone in the galley to still be apart of the social gathering.
  • Starting forward one will find a lovely guest cabin in the bow with V-berth, drawers under the berths, portlights in the cabin sides, overhead hatch. storage locker, teak Parquet flooring and teak ceiling strips line the hull sides for a warm, bright, and inviting guest cabin. As one heads aft down the hallway, one will find behind a sliding teak door to starboard a full stack washer and dryer. Next aft to starboard is the full guest cabin head with vanity, head and separate shower stall. Solid surface counter top, storage outboard and under the vanity, large mirror, cabin side portlights in head and shower stall and overhead opening hatch for wonderful light and ventilation. Opposite to port is her fabulous U-shaped galley. The galley is open to the salon for excellent communication with those in the salon or the captain at the lower helm. The parquet flooring runs throughout. Storage is abundant in the galley and it is a wonderful work space for preparing gourmet meals, or not, what ever suits you.
  • Up several steps to the Main salon. The lower helm is to starboard with electric panel and starboard side door. To port is a half bar that is aft and looks into the galley. Great area for setting up a buffet or morning breakfast. Granite counter top with two short stools, and a port side door.
  • Her salon is so inviting. built-in wet bar aft of the lower helm followed by a large L-shaped banquette or dinette with hi-low table that folds out to accommodate a large group for dining. She has additional chairs for lounging or to pull up to the table for additional seating. Entertainment center is to port, engine room access is via the floor with multiple panels that can open as well as under stairs from galley to salon. Huge windows surround the salon for an open and bright salon. many opening side windows as well as a forward opening center windshield and aft opening window allowing for super ventilation. All the way aft is the access to the Master stateroom.
  • Her Master Stateroom gives one everything you could want for extended time aboard. Island queen berth with a ton of drawers outboard to starboard. Forward to starboard is the stand alone shower stall with teak grate on the floor and overhead hatch for ventilation and portlight for additional light. Center line forward is a large hanging locker. To port and forward is the separate head with solid surface top vanity, storage under as well as additional storage outboard with portlight for plenty of light. Aft of the head area to port is additional drawers and counter followed by a desk with seat. Next to the berth is a companionway to the aft deck with large swing doors and overhead private plexiglass is like a skylight. Portights surround the stateroom for abundant light and some open for great ventilation along with the aft companionway.
  • The whole interior is warm, bright and inviting with lovely teak cabinetry throughout, light fabrics keep her bright and parquet flooring give her that old world charm of a bygone era when boats were built with price of workmanship.
