1996 Privilege 65 | Lolalita

An eye catcher in any marina or anchorage, Lolalita is an ocean-going catamaran with huge volume, offering spacious accommodation for a large family to cruise the world or the perfect sail, diving or surf charter vessel.

No expense has been spared on her many bluewater and comfort upgrades. In 2022-2023 a family of seven undertook an “adventure of a lifetime” trans-Pacific voyage onboard and managed comfortably without crew.

With an extra-large saloon perfect for entertaining, massive storage areas, a large down-galley, and refrigeration, she was frequently the “party boat” where all the kids in the anchorages loved to hang out and play. 

Lolalita boasts five cabins accessible from the saloon: one king, three queen and one bunk room (plus a sixth large crew berth with bunk beds and head accessible from the deck).

The expansive owner’s suite features lots of natural light, excellent ventilation and a king-sized bed located in the large central pod that Privilege yachts are famous for.  

She has low engine hours (~1600 hrs), low generator hours (3,500hrs and 4,200hrs) and recent electrical, solar, and hydraulic refits, a high-capacity water maker, new sails and much more.

Her large selection of water toys includes eight sets of dive gear, a compressor, underwater speakers, kiteboards, SUPs, surfboards, subwings. kiting / foiling gear and more.

The newly refurbished tender, with a custom fabricated tow tower, is powered by a new 50hp Yamaha and launched from a very nice tender platform making access to the water easy.

Even with all the cruising gear and comforts, Lolalita is a true performance cruiser. This vintage of Privilege was definitely built with both comfort and speed in mind.

Her large rig and sleek lines make her significantly faster than the more recent 585 and 615 Privilege models. She comfortably cruises at 10+ kts with a top speed of 16kts under sail.
