1999 Apreamare 7.5 Cabinato “Bella”

Bella is a rare 1999 Apreamare 7.5 Cabinato, built in Italy by Apreamare, a builder rooted in the traditional boatbuilding heritage of the Sorrentine Peninsula. The 7.5 was designed as a modern cruiser that blends classic Italian style with comfort, speed, maneuverability, and seakeeping. In the U.S., Apreamare is not a common name, but in Europe these boats are known for their distinctive design, quality woodwork, and refined cruising character.  

The Cabinato version gives Bella a true cabin layout while still keeping the boat manageable and easy to enjoy. She features a spacious forward double berth, cherry veneered interior cabinetry, teak cabin sole details, galley sink, refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, enclosed head with electric toilet and shower, air conditioning, TV, and useful storage.

Her exterior has the classic Apreamare look, with teak decks, teak cockpit sole, teak swim platform, mahogany exterior trim, varnished wood details, stainless rails, stainless deck hardware, bimini top and swim ladder. The result is a small Italian cruiser with far more character than a typical 25 foot express boat.

The Apreamare 7.5 Cabinato was designed with a Deep V planing hull. That hull form was intended to provide speed and safety while helping the boat enter the water smoothly when meeting waves. Bella is comfortable as a picnic boat for quiet creek and river cruising, but she is also built for more than protected water. Her twin diesel power and capable hull give her safe access to coastal waters and the ability to reach almost any destination on the Chesapeake Bay in style.  

Power is provided by twin VM Motori diesel inboards, a Detroit Diesel company. She is also equipped with a Phasor Marine 3.5 kW generator with Super Silencer sound enclosure, shore power, Victron charging equipment, four Odyssey Extreme AGM batteries, electric windlass, hydraulic steering, Morse engine controls, trim tabs, and recent bottom paint.

At the helm, Bella includes a Raymarine touchscreen chartplotter, B&G depth display, Horizon Intrepid VHF, and engine instrumentation. Additional systems include a TankWatch III monitor, audio system, and cabin TV.
