Brightside is a very exciting opportunity to secure a like new 2024 Fountaine Pajot MY 5. Brightside is a single boat owner and is in Newport RI. She is fully kitted out with pretty much every single option available at the time of Purchase including but not limited to tender, flybridge clears, awnings/covers. This MY40 (now called the MY5) is a three-cabin flybridge power cat measuring just under 45 ft overall, powered by Volvo IPS joystick-controlled drives. She is loaded with ample state-of-the-art features, including a full-beam hydraulic swim platform which is not seen on any other boat in her class. This acts as a handy place to keep the tender but also a great swimming platform when at anchor with the family.
Another notable design feature is the very spacious master cabin with a queen-sized bed facing the large hull window in the port hull with a separate head and proper walk-in open shower. The starboard hull comprises two cabins with the aft cabin house a full queen-sized berth and the forward cabin is a bunk bed configuration ideally suited for family cruising.
With dual helm stations, which again is a feature not often seen on a boat of this size but is great to have for those days when the weather turns, there is also an additional docking station (3 docking stations total) on the portside making this boat a breeze to dock single handed.
The flybridge is covered from the elements with a stylish, full hardtop with zippable clears around. Once up on the flybridge there is a full dining table with L-shaped lounge aft, a double sunbed adjacent to the helm station, and a wet bar with a drink’s fridge and sink. Unlike some other brand’s models, the foredeck on this boat becomes a social safe place to hang out when on anchor and when underway at slow speeds with a C-shaped lounge and two reclining sun loungers. Under the sunken floor in the foredeck is a huge storage locker for fenders and inflatable toys and other bulky items.
Brightside is the Platinum version which means she is loaded with extras not seen on other boats. She has underwater lighting, Zoned Bose Stereo system for the saloon. Cockpit and bridge deck. Compete cushions and covers. Additional batteries,Solar for extended time at anchor and a water maker.

GALLEY
The galley is situated on the starboard side as you walk in the large glass sliding doors with a aft facing double stainless sink. 2 burner induction hob mounted on beautifully finished countertops, Mounted just aft of the stove is a large Microwave/oven combo. Stainless steel ice maker is located under the counter top. The full size fridge freezer is over to port just aft of the main dining area. The saloon and galley area has reverse cycle a/c and heat. A/C has been upgraded to with the Tropical package giving a total of 60,000 BTU keeping the entire boat cool no matter where you are in the world.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Dining area
There is a large settee over to port with a dining table that can accomodate 6 people in comfort. The table can be adjusted to accommodate cocktails or formal dinner .Across from the dining area and situated to starboard is the lower helm station with a complete garmin package and finger tip controls.
Cabins
Brightside is a 3 cabin and 2 head head layout which provides plenty of comfortable sleeping accommodations. The port-side primary stateroom features a walk-around Queen bed with ensuite head. The starboard hull features a VIP cabin aft, with en-suite head. The third guest cabin is forward starboard with the popular bunk bed arrangement making her perfect for family cruising or having friends aboard.
SALON & COCKPIT
Step aboard and you'll find yourself in a beautifully appointed and well-lit salon. The open floor plan provides plenty of space for entertaining, while large windows allow natural light to flood the space. The aft deck features the extremely popular, full-beam hydraulic swim platform and faux teak on the platform, aft deck and cockpit and continues into the main level of the galley/salon. The fully equipped galley is perfect for preparing meals and features modern appliances and plenty of storage.
FLYBRIDGE
The flybridge is covered from the elements with a stylish, full hardtop with zippable clears around.
