Billy Ortlip

William "Billy" Ortlip III has been on the water since before he could walk — literally raised in it, born into a family with boating in its blood. Originally from Southern New Jersey and now a 35-year resident of Lake Park, Florida, Billy brings a lifetime of hands-on experience to every transaction. He has held his Captain's license for 25 years and has fished 6 to 10 tournaments a year for the last five decades, giving him a genuinely rare depth of knowledge across every type of vessel on the water.

Billy has been a broker with DH Yacht Sales since 2019, specializing in sportfish, center consoles, and motoryachts alike. After a lifetime immersed in the industry, brokerage became his way to stay connected to the boats and the people who love them just as much as he does. What sets him apart is simple: honesty. Billy is upfront that he will not lie to you or for you — he is committed to being a genuinely honest salesperson in an industry that does not always have a reputation for that. When he is not on the water you will find him spending time with family on his boat or out freshwater fishing.
